New app in the market: USGA Handicap Calculator

I just published the USGA version of the EGA Handicap Calculator. I was asked to make one so, here it is. If you are a regular golf player, you want to be able to quickly see the progress you have made in the last couple of months, right? I know I do, so here it is, get it from the market. This app calculates what your handicap index would be according to the latest USGA rules if you would submit all the game score you stored in the app.

Asphalt 5 Unlocker published

After the success of the Need For Speed Shift Unlocker, I now released the Asphalt 5 Unlocker. Although the Asphalt 5 game is more difficult than the Need For Speed game, it is actually more fun to play. And to make it even more attractive there is now an unlocker to speed up your game.
Right now the unlocker gives you plenty of money, all regular cars and girls, and access to all events. Later updates will bring some more features.

Free version of EGA Handicap Calculator

I just released the free version of the EGA Handicap Calculator. There is quite some interest for this app. And I got a request to build the same app with USGA rules. Fine with me, if somebody can give me the USGA equivalent of the Stableford score handicap improvement system?

New app in the market: EGA Handicap Calculator

This time it is a sports app: the EGA Handicap Calculator. I cannot understand why nobody has made this before: If you are a regular golf player, you want to be able to quickly see the progress you have made in the last couple of months, right? I know I do, so here it is, get it from the market.

Need For Speed Shift Unlocker temporarily unavailable

The icon of the Need For Speed Shift Unlocker needs to be revised. This means that the unlocker will be unavailable for a little while. Sorry for any inconvenience!

Major update of X-Ray Attenuation Calculator

I just updated the X-Ray Attenuation Calculator, to also include the NIST database of compounds. Besides, the graph engine has been update to the latest achartengine, which was published a few days ago. This version of achartengine should be compatible with android 1.5 and 1.6 again, so if requested I will change the app to be available for those android versions too.

Archos Gen8 kernel with iptables and ext4

The Archos 70Sit is a very nice and cheap Android tablet. However, it can do with some improvements. If you want te have
  • the latest stock firmware
  • root access
  • 1GB ext4 data partition
  • iptables support for Droidwall
then you better read further!

Thanks to the great work done by recognized XDA devs as chrulri and $aur0n I now managed to compile my own kernel for stock Archos Gen8, with support for iptables (so Droidwall can be used) and ext4 (so a 1GB ext4 /data partition can be made on internal sd card).

If you want to enhance your Archos with these features, head over to my xda-forum post.

NFS Shift Unlocker Unlocker for internal sd

Finally solved the problem users had running NFSS Unlocker on devices with  preinstalled NFSS 2.x. (eg A500, some galaxy tabs, etc). For those devices root access is required for the Unlocker.

Updates and new free version of X-Ray Attenuation Calculator

NFS Shift Unlocker: At least there is still one person out there who says the NFS Shift Unlocker doesn't work for a device. So I updated the Unlocker to make it easier for people to report if the Unlocker does not work (and hopefully the feedback will let me track down the bug for the unlucky few).

X-Ray Attenutation Calculator: I only now found out that achartengine 0.6 does not work on android 1.6, so I in the latest update I changed the requirements. Also a possible bugfix on screen rotation was fixed, and the size of the app was decreased.

X-Ray Attenutation Calculator Free:  I made a free version too for the X-Ray Attenuation Calculator. You can find it at https://market.android.com/details?id=com.whodunnit.medicalphysics.xrayattenuationfree

NFS Shift Bug Fixed!

I put an update on the market (version 2011.07b) of the Need For Speed SHIFT Unlocker tool. This should fix "app doesn't work" issues. Please update your tool from the market (free for all that bought the app).

Sorry for all inconveniences.  I didn't realize that data files were stored in different locations for different devices.

NFS Shift Unlocker bug for devices without sdcard

Found out that devices without sdcards don't like this app. Will update it tonight.

Little bug in NFS Shift Unlocker

Argh! Just found there is a small bug in the unlocker code. The tool crashes if it cannot find the necessary files! Sadly I cannot fix it until later this day!

If you bought my unlocker tool,  and it crashes on your device, I am really sorry: a fix will be available tonight. But do note that you must have the NFS Shift Game installed on your device, and have played the game at least once before you can use my unlocker!

Need For Speed Shift Unlocker

A new app for the market. My Need For Speed Shift game crashed on my tablet, and I did not want to start all over again. So I wrote this little tool to give me a little more cash to start my racing games. Because I cannot get past the drift levels, I decided to unlock all racing games. And since that is not enough to let me test drive all cars of the game: I gave myself all cars in the game.

Then I thought, maybe more people will want to help themselves a bit further in this great racing game. Thus NFS Shift Unlocker was born! Get it at https://market.android.com/details?id=com.whodunnit.games.nfssunlocker

Second App on the Android Market

I published a new app on the Android Market: X-Ray Attenuation Calculator. With the app you can inspect the x-ray linear mass attenuation coefficient for the different elements, display the location of the edges, and calculate the attenuation (or transmission) of a narrow beam of mono-energetic x-rays through a slab of this material of any thickness at any x-ray energy.

It's available at https://market.android.com/details?id=com.whodunnit.medicalphysics.xrayattenuationpro

First apps in the market!

Well, I now have my first app in the Android Market: CT Dose Calculator. A simple tool to quickly estimate patient dose from a CT exam. A handy tool to have in a medical physicist's pocket for sure!
There is a free version of the app (with advertising) on https://market.android.com/details?id=com.whodunnit.medicalphysics.dosecalculatorfree and a non-free version without ads on  https://market.android.com/details?id=com.whodunnit.medicalphysics.dosecalculator
